The measure closes a significant regulatory gap in the operational implementation of Sector I of the EU-Mercosur Free Trade Agreement in Argentina. It provides an exhaustive list of 847 eight-digit NCM (Mercosur Common Nomenclature) tariff lines covered by the first tariff reduction phase, establishing for each the preferential duty rate resulting from a 15% reduction on the applicable consolidated MFN ad valorem tariff.
